Questions

About the plans, billing and your email.

Something else? Send us a note, right from the page.

What counts as a domain?

Each name you watch: www.example.com and api.example.com count as two. The server addresses behind a name, up to 4 IPv4 and 4 IPv6, are checked as part of that name.

How do I buy a plan?

Choose it above and pay through Paddle, our merchant of record, with your email address. We then email that address a link to confirm, and the plan starts once you do. There’s no account to create: the plan belongs to that address.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything belongs to your email address, and you manage it from links we email you. There’s no password to remember.

Can alerts go to Slack or Teams?

Yes, by email, on every plan. A Slack or Teams channel can have an email address of its own: add it like any other address, and it confirms the same way. On Free it can be your one address; paid plans add more addresses, and Agency and MSP each client’s own.

There’s no app to install and no webhook. The channel’s address is what lets mail post there, so keep it private. Slack gives channels an address only on its paid plans; Teams channels have one on their own.

How to get a channel’s address

Does it check that my site is up?

No. We watch for the quiet failures, like a certificate or a registration running out, not whether your pages load, so keep your uptime monitor for that. The two work side by side.

What happens when a plan ends?

You keep it until the end of the period you paid for, then you’re back on the free plan. Domains over its limit are paused, never deleted, so you can pick up where you left off.

Will the free plan stay free?

It is free today, with the one-off checks, and paid plans add to it rather than replacing it. If anything about the free plan changes, this page will say so first.

How does billing work?

Through Paddle, our merchant of record: Paddle takes the payment, sends the invoice and handles sales tax. We never see or store card details.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Ask within 30 days of any payment, on any paid plan, your first or a renewal, and we refund it in full, no reason needed. The refund ends that subscription. The refund policy, linked at the foot of every page, has the details.
